In Memory of:
House of Specialties and Gifts, is about going forward, in memory of my Father, Jimmy Yates, my hero.
My Father taught me love, compassion, integrity, quality, and how to take pride in my work.
Experience /history:
Yates Excavation/Construction, is where I first worked five years with as the Safety Administrator, working side by side with Washington Group International, Petra and several other contractors big, and small. Tamarack Resort is where we built roads, foundations, wooden bridges, and the utilities of the subdivisions. We were also in charge of erosion control. Putting the business first was like dealing with the good the bad and the ugly. I was also a laborer/ supervisor. We held meetings and I went to meetings representing the company. I helped bring on new employees. After learning the skills needed, I wrote the employee handbook of policies and procedures for the company of Yates Excavation /Construction.
Education:
My certifications, I held with the company through National Association of Safety Professionals I obtained and practiced was Environmental Health and Safety Specialist {EHSS}, Safety Training Specialist (STS), Safety Planning Specialist (SPS) and which these certifications made me a Certified Safety Manager (CSM). and I learned and applied OSHA, guidelines. The outcome, I saved lives, protected the business, and added value to the company making the company an asset to Tamarack Resort in its earliest stages of construction.
Shortly after serving five years working with Yates excavation/Construction, getting certified, and applying my knowledge gained, I resigned from Yates Excavation. I continued my education by doing online college with University of Phoenix starting in 2005 and completing in 2015 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in business. Later I found myself taking a course with AWAI under Joshua Boswell, and now a program under Nick Usborne, Making Money with Writing Websites. and a few other programs. I also continued my work career in costumer service, in the food and beverage industry waiting tables, prep cooking and bartending as I did in my earlier years. Now I am in a place where I highly value my clients. I am learning with AWAI, and combining my previous skills for my clients benefit.
